Mr. Thang affirmed that the Mid-Autumn Festival in Tuyen Quang is the biggest in the country and next week he will invite more friends to continue to have fun here.

Mr. Nguyen Nam Thanh, who lives in Tuyen Quang, shared that the model of the giant mid-autumn lantern was made by people in the groups. Most of the mid-autumn lights are made of iron frames, meticulously welded to ensure sturdiness and aesthetic elements. Each lamp can consist of one part or it can be many parts assembled.

And Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung (living in group 1 of Tuyen Quang city) said that each lamp usually costs 70-100 million VND, large models can be more than 100 million. Of which, the body part accounts for two-thirds of the money, the rest is the cost of renewing the models each year. All money is contributed by people in the residential group.

According to Mr. Hung, each year there will be a different model, this year the lamp model of group 1 is named “Au Co love story” inspired by the legend of Lac Long Quan and Au Co.
