Binh Duong reports two more Covid-19 deaths

HCMC – The Department of Health of the southern province of Binh Duong today, July 16, confirmed two Covid-19 deaths, raising the province’s total Covid-19 deaths to four.

One of the deceased was a 33-year-old man in Bac Tan Uyen District. He tested positive for Covid-19 on July 5 and was being treated at the medical center of Bau Bang District, the local media reported.

On July 7, his condition worsened, so he was moved to the Binh Duong General Hospital. Despite treatment efforts and consultations with experts of the Cho Ray Hospital in HCMC, the patient died on July 14.

The other deceased was a 56-year-old woman in Ben Cat Town. She died on July 14 after being treated at the medical center of Phu Giao District, five days after she was found to be infected with Covid-19 on July 9.

In the fourth Covid-19 wave, Binh Duong has recorded more than 2,000 Covid-19 cases, including 400 detected after they visited medical centers, more than 1,200 at concentrated quarantine facilities and 343 in areas on lockdown.
