Wenger confirms he'll be Arsenal boss next season
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he will remain at the helm next season, despite yet another disappointing season the Mirror report.
The Gunners led the Premier League for a portion of the season but, ultimately, conceded their position and are now 13 points off of league leaders Leicester City, sitting in fourth place.
Despite the fact that Arsenal are set to end the season without silverware, Wenger insists he will stay on as manager next season, for the final year of his contract.
"I respect, always, my contract," Wenger told reporters in his press conference ahead of West Brom's visit on Thursday.
Speaking about Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace that further diminished their already slim title hopes, Wenger admitted that his side were short of efficiency which cost them the match.Alexis Sanchez, whose contracts expire in 2018, are happy to stay and are in negotiations over extensions.
"Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Özil have two years remaining on their contracts and we're not in a hurry.
"We're talking. They both want to stay," he confirmed.Link source
