Three imported Covid-19 cases reported in Khanh Hoa

HCMC - The Ministry of Health has reported three new imported Covid-19 cases in Khanh Hoa Province, sending the country’s Covid-19 tally to 2,717 as of this morning, April 14.

The 2,715th patient is a 45-year-old man residing in the province’s Nha Trang City. The man returned to Vietnam from Germany on Flight VN30 and was immediately quarantined after arriving at the Cam Ranh International Airport on April 11. The patient is being treated at the Khanh Hoa Province Hospital for Tropical Diseases.

The two other patients include a 57-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman from Khoai Chau District, Hung Yen Province that came back to Vietnam from the Czech Republic on Flight VN30 on April 11, transiting in Germany. They are undergoing treatment at Ninh Sim Clinic in Khanh Hoa Province.

The country has reported 910 locally transmitted Covid-19 cases in 13 cities and provinces in the latest outbreak since January 27. Most of these localities have reported no new domestic infections for over two months.

As many as 2,445 Covid-19 patients in the country have made a full recovery. Among the active cases, 18 patients have tested negative for Covid-19 three times and 18 others have tested negative twice.

Up to now, more than 60,100 people in 19 cities and provinces nationwide have been injected with the Covid-19 vaccine, including 990 people in HCMC, Haiphong, Hanoi, Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh yesterday.
