Nghe An viewed from above

Tourist blogger Quy Coc Tu explores from the green patches of mountains, meadows, Lam River to sacred places like Chung Son Temple.

Nghe An is one of the destination at the end of 2020 of tourist blogger Ma Coc Tu (real name Ngo Tran Hai An) in his journey to implement a photo project: Seeing Vietnam in the heavens.

Sharing with VnExpress , he remembers that having not returned to Nghe An for nearly a decade, this trip has helped him make many changes, realizing that Nghe has too many beautiful, wild and worth exploring places.

Coming to Nghe land this time he came to Pu Mat National Park, the first impression of Devil Coc Tu was the path leading deep into the national park through many small paths weaving between the green forests.

The deeper you go into VGQ, the more you will be able to see the green areas of the forest, mixed with the winding bends of the Lam River.

Devil Coc Tu from Anh Son followed Highway 7 to the confluence of Lam River, Chau Dinh village, then turned left to deep into the border area with Laos. This road passes through pristine mountains and forests, passes through Bung, Xat, Diem villages and then to Khe Bu, Kia Na and continues to reach the core zone of the park.

Lam river flows along Khe Bu village at VGQ Pu Mat in the area of Con Cuong district. This is a village of Dan Lai ethnic group that still retains its rare pristine lifestyle and landscape.

A small corner of Khe Bu village, where you can see the romantic scenery of Dan Lai ethnic life, by the river by the forest, with simple foliage. Ma Coc Tu shared that he felt like he was going back to the past and entering an ancient village. He loves the image of thatched houses hidden by the stream, surrounded by mountains, seeing people and heaven and earth intersecting.

Leaving the villages, he crossed the Pha Lai suspension bridge, looking from the bridge, you could see the Pha Lai dam (upper right corner) dividing the John River. It was late in the afternoon, so he caught a group of local people working in fields and fields and crossing bridges.

If you come to Pha Lai Dam during the sunny day, this is probably a unique “virtual life” spot worth spending more time stopping by. However, the sunset here should not be missed.

Thanh Chuong tea hill located near the border with Laos, about 50 km from Vinh city, has fancy scenery surrounded by lakes. Instead of walking to admire the photography scene, visitors to Thanh Chuong need to take a boat to move to the “islands” of tea. Due to the year-end occasion, Quy Coc Tu shared that Nghe An has just passed the flood and storm season, so the lake water is no longer as blue as before.

Pastures in Cam Son commune, Anh Son district when people are preparing to build soil, beat beds to plant new crops. Looking at the wide-angle from above, both the field and the color of the soil and the color of plants add a poetic and romantic section of Lam River.

” Lonely tree ” among the grasslands in Cam Son commune. The scene is reminiscent of a lonely tree in Hue in the movie Mat Tin in Quang Dien, Hue.

The field with one side of red soil is used as a bed, one side of green grass is used as food for dairy cows. Coming to Nghia Dan you will see such fields as hundreds of hectares of vast grasslands like steppe.

A green road in Nghia Dan bends along the Lam River.

Hon Mat Lake in Nghia Loc commune, Nghia Dan district looks down like a mirror, reflecting the image of the mountains and hills.

Phu Quy flower valley is located close to Ho Chi Minh road, in Nghia Long commune, Nghia Dan district, tens of hectares wide, particularly the area of flower growing and small landscape decoration is more than 2.5 hectares. On weekends and holidays, this place welcomes 1,000 – 1,500 visitors to take pictures.

Chung Son Temple viewed from above. This is the place to worship Uncle Ho’s family, which was inaugurated in May 2020. The temple is located on Chung mountain in Lien Son commune, Nam Dan district of President Ho Chi Minh’s hometown.

Not only a work of cultural and spiritual value, but Chung Son Temple is also a highlight in the journey to visit Uncle Ho’s hometown because Chung mountain is a sacred land, in 1991 was ranked a national historical monument.
