The purpose of the trip of Anh Chiem and his friends is to chat after the epidemic, take photos and enjoy local specialties.

Travel schedule

Chiem shared because the epidemic is still dangerous, the schedule is designed quite meticulously to visit all 4 spots of Ho Han stream, Dai Yem waterfall, Chieng Khoa waterfall, and Na Ka plum valley. The group departed from Hanoi at 2:30 am by the self-driving car. On the way to the Moc Chau area, where there were no more checkpoints, the group made a medical declaration and moved on a phone application. In the car, the men take turns driving, the rest of the members can take advantage of sleep to keep their strength.

Arriving, from 8 am to 16 pm, the group in turn visited the destinations listed in the schedule and had lunch right at Chieng Khoa waterfall. Because of fear of the epidemic, he did not stay but returned to Hanoi at 9 pm. He shared, Moc Chau road is very easy to go, only the road to the waterfall has many bends, so you need a firm steering wheel.

Weather and attractions

Under the new normal, Moc Chau has reopened tourist attractions, attractions, restaurants and eateries, but it is still not as crowded on weekends as before. Chiem said the purpose of the trip was to chat with friends after the epidemic and take photos, so he liked such a deserted scene.

The weather in Moc Chau this season is cold and foggy in the early morning, so the scene is very fanciful. When the group arrived in Na Ka plum valley, the space was covered with fog, plum flowers were sporadically blooming, in the next two weeks, they may bloom.

The misty scenery on the mountains overlapping in Moc Chau in November.

Chieng Khoa Waterfall is the most pristine place because it has not been exploited for tourism. The waterfall has a total of 7 floors, each floor is 7-10 m high, the water pours down from the cliff to white foam. Around the waterfall is green vegetation, on every floor, there is a large green lake like jade. In the summer, many people love to swim here, this season can go boating, enjoy the scenery, listen to the echoes of the mountains. This is also the reason why the waterfall is called Van Ho’s “great love cup”.

Here, the group after conquering the first and third floors, then went back to the foot of the waterfall and rested and had lunch. The group’s lunch is pre-ordered at the local house, including specialties of hill chicken, wild vegetables… Most especially, sitting with friends, listening to the roaring waterfall in your ears, temporarily forgetting about it. the hustle and bustle of the city. The ticket price to visit here is 30,000 VND/person. To reach the foot of the waterfall, you will have to walk for about 15 minutes, the road is easy to go.

The next destination of the group was Dai Yem, a waterfall located on Vat stream, which is a combination of two water streams in Vat village, a very old Thai village. Before coming to the waterfall, the group went through the Ho Han stream. Dai Yem waterfall is massive with a height of more than 100 m, divided into 2 parts. The upper part has 9 floors and the lower part is 5 floors, separating the middle is flat land, suitable for tourists to have fun and enjoy the scenery.

A special feature here is that there are rock formations of many shapes, causing the waterfall to split into many parts before flowing into the lake. So the water is not rumbling, but soft like silk. The ticket price to visit the waterfall is 100,000 VND/person. There are plenty of restaurants and bars here.

Chiem shared, to taking pictures of beautiful waterfalls, it is indispensable for a camera and a tripod. In addition, he added filters for the camera as well as using a slow shutter speed to make the water flow smoother.

The total cost for the trip for 4 members is nearly 1,900,000 VND. Including 600,000 VND for petrol and 70,000 VND for road tickets. The entrance ticket for 4 people at the waterfall is 520,000 VND, lunch is 500,000 VND and 200,000 VND pocket money.
