On February 25, in accordance with Decision No. 716/QD-BNN-TCCB on the mobilization and appointment of cadres, signed by Minister Le Minh Hoan on February 24, 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development assigned and appointed Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Vietnam Institute of Fisheries Economics and Planning (VIFEP), to hold the position of Director of Research Institute of Aquaculture II (RIA2) starting from March 1, 2022.

Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien conveyed the message: "Having the tradition and duties carved inside the heart of each officer and employee in Research Institute of Aquaculture II, I hope that Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, with the spirit of always striving forwards, putting the interests of the Institute first, gathering and uniting all officers and employees of the Institute to help the Institute for Aquaculture Research II progress further in the coming time".

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung expressed his gratitude towards the Party Personnel Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for trusting and appointing him to be the Director of the Research Institute for Aquaculture II - the place he had previously worked in for a long time.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung gave his words to display his best performance at work, unite internally, develop a great force along with all officers and employees in the institute to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
