Watch the sunrise at Long Coc tea hill

PHU THO – Long Coc tea hill in the early morning looks like a watercolor painting, the scene changes every minute.

Long Coc tea hill is one of the favorite destinations of tourists who are passionate about photography. Located in Tan Son district, Phu Tho province, about 125 km from Hanoi, these “tea oases” are also known as Ha Long Bay in the midlands. This photo was taken at 5:30 a.m. on October 16.

According to many experienced tourists coming to Long Coc to successfully hunt early morning dew, the tea hill is most beautiful in late autumn and early winter. To have the best photos, you should come on sunny days, the day – night temperature should be about 10 degrees Celsius difference. In addition to hunting early morning dew, watching the tea hill under the sunrise is also a suggestion. It was a scene described by visitors as a “surreal moment”. “When you were engrossed in watching the rays of sunlight creeping through the mist, covering the entire tea hill, suddenly the whole Long Coc lit up in the dawn. The scene at that time, was as beautiful as a picture. watercolor painting,” Nguyen Anh Chiem, a tourist from Hanoi.

Long Coc tea hill is in the most beautiful season. To hunt dew and watch the sunrise, visitors should go two days and one night. For convenience, you should camp on a tea hill to be able to watch the galaxy at night, and at the same time catch the sunrise from 5 to 7 am. This is also the best time to see the tea hill under the first rays of the new day. This photo was taken at 6:30 a.m.

How to move Hanoi – Long Coc: go in the direction of Highway 32 to Thanh Son and continue in the direction of Xuan Son national park, to Long Coc commune. Those who are going for the first time, coming to Long Coc commune should ask the locals for detailed directions to get to a place where they can cover the entire tea hill.

Visitors should note that you should ride a high-rise car when going up the tea hill. The first 200 m of the road to drive, so be aware that it is easy to crash. If camping overnight, you should prepare tents, sleeping bags, flashlights, firewood, some medicine to prevent insects, headaches, diarrhea… Everyone needs to bring warm clothes because Long Coc is cold at night.

In the morning, the whole group can eat instant noodles to bring quickly and conveniently,” shared Mr. Anh Chiem (far left), just camping in Long Coc with a group of friends.

Chiem also gave a suggested schedule for a two-day and one-night trip: departing from Hanoi at 3 pm, traveling by self-driving car, and arriving at 6:30pm. The male tourist said that this was a perfect trip for him because he was immersed in nature. He also has fun moments with friends, amidst the starry night sky as well as watching the beautiful sunrise.
