HCMC – The first Vietnam ASEAN International Furniture and Home Accessories Fair (VIFA ASEAN) will be held between August 29 and September 1 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in District 7, HCMC.

Under the theme “Gathering all the best Southeast Asian furniture”, the event will feature leading woodworking manufacturers in the region.

The 20,000-square-meter exhibition area of VIFA ASEAN will feature over 1,400 booths from up to 350 domestic and international companies.

The event will showcase a range of wooden products, including interior and outdoor furniture, home decoration, handicraft and supporting services, to facilitate trade and market expansion at home and abroad.

VIFA ASEAN will be held by the Alliance Handicraft and Wooden Fine Art Corporation, or Lien Minh Co., a local event organizer specialized in the woodworking industry.

In March, the firm succesfully held the 14th Vietnam International Furniture and Home Accessories Fair, or VIFA EXPO 2023.

The organizer wants to strengthen the role of Vietnam as a global hub for trading furniture and wood products, in addition to promoting Southeast Asian brands in the international market.

The show will allow participants to explore the woodworking industry of regional countries, particularly through the national pavilions of Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines, among others.

VIFA ASEAN will be part of a series of furniture exhibitions across Asia between August and September.
