Experience a gorgeous sunrise on Chuon Lagoon in central Vietnam

To capture an enthralling sunrise, head to Chuon Lagoon in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue where you will find it worth waking up early to see the sun come up in the sky.

Being some 12 kilometers away from Hue City, Chuon Lagoon, also known as Cau Hai Lagoon, is located in Phu Vang District.

Chuon Lagoon is a major part of the Tam Giang lagoon system where tourists can experience the interesting daily life of local people.

The lagoon is also known as one of the places that boast the best sunrise views in this central Vietnamese locality.

To catch the sunrise, make sure that you are here between 4:00 am and 4:30 am.

The vastness of space, a bamboo fencing system set up for aquaculture, small boats, and a few fishermen huts are among the typical characteristics you will see at Chuon Lagoon.

When the sun is yet to rise, the whole lagoon is shrouded in mist. The eastern sky steadily changes from purple and pink to orange, and then to vivid red as the sun rises in the sky.

Tourists can ask to rent a boat from the locals in order to fully admire this awesome moment and experience early morning markets.

Enjoying the boat trip, touching the cool water in the morning, while savoring the early morning hours is truly a wonderful moment for travel lovers.

Chuon Lagoon is a tourist destination that retains the peace and tranquility of a Hue suburb, while offering a wide selection of catering and lodging services.

Tourists can enjoy the signature dishes on offer here, such as grilled tiger prawns, spicy stir-fried octopus, banh khoai ca kinh (a type of savory crispy crepe topped with a whole fried fish), and others.
