Livestreaming on TikTok helps promote and sell specialties of Bac Giang, earning VND 1.2 billion within 4 hours

On the morning of June 24, in Hong Giang commune, Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province, more than 40 KOLs (key opinion leaders) on the TikTok platform conducted livestreams to promote and sell typical products of the province, such as strawberries, mie chue noodles, La Sauce, cordyceps, and many other products.
According to data from Bac Giang Newspaper, within just 4 hours, content creators conducted a total of 26 livestreams, attracting nearly 1.7 million views. The notable result was 5,182 orders were placed with total revenue reaching VND 1.2 billion, including 23 tons of strawberries sold. Notably, mie chue noodles and braised pork sold out in just 10 minutes of livestreaming.
This livestreaming activity was part of a tourism promotion and specialty products program in Bac Giang, organized by the TikTok platform in collaboration with Sun Bright Arts and Events Joint Stock Company.
This event not only helped promote the image and typical products of Bac Giang to a wide audience on TikTok, but also brought significant revenues for the province's specialty products. This shows the potential of using social media platforms and livestreaming technology to connect consumers with local products.
The tourism promotion and Bac Giang specialty products program on TikTok not only helps boost the local tourism industry and economic development, but also affirms TikTok's position in promoting and connecting users with products and services in the region.
