A discovery at a wooden clog village in Binh Duong
Binh Duong Province has been known nationwide for its craft villages of making wooden clogs, lacquer and pottery products.
The tradition of making wooden clogs in Phu Tho and Binh Nham wards in Thuan An Town in the locality has existed and developed over 100 years.
Tu Phong, an artisan with over 40 years of making wooden clogs.
Applying PU paint is the ﬁnal step of the clog making process. Then, wooden clogs will be transferred to local residents to make plastic, fabric and leather straps.
Raw wood will be soaked in chemicals for treatment and to be dried afterwards to help bring the sustainability for the products.
Clogs will be polished to help beautiful the produce.

Alitalia and Air Malta end partnership deal talks
