Since its inception, Vietnam Groove, a real estate trader, has launched multiple corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities to contribute to the community, cement its culture of giving and solidarity, and spread the spirit of “mutual affection, mutual love”. The company’s CSR program during the ongoing fight against the Covid-19 pandemic for the most part has centered on front-line forces as well as poor people affected by the health crisis.

Joining hands with HCMC to fight off Covid-19

As a property trading firm distributing high-end products of a leading real estate developer in Vietnam—Vinhomes—to Vietnamese and Japanese customers, Vietnam Groove has also attended to the people affected by crises.

During the fourth coronavirus outbreak in Vietnam, HCMC has been the largest hotspot with the number of new cases as well as Covid-19 deaths surging, putting pressure on the city’s healthcare sector. Medical workers have worked hard day and night to save patients, while medical equipment has been exhausted.

Responding to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee’s call to support the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in cash and in kind to give a helping hand to frontline medical workers, Vietnam Groove handed over VND200 million to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in HCMC to buy essential products for medical workers.

In addition to donating medical equipment, Vietnam Groove’s employees also acted as volunteers helping with the city’s large-scale testing campaign in July.

Moreover, the company joined hands with Vingroup to present cash to freelance and uncontracted workers and those facing difficulties in Thu Duc City during the social distancing period.

Relief for the poor

Earlier, during the historic floods in the central region in October last year, Vietnam Groove accompanied local residents to overcome the natural disaster. The images of multiple houses, paddy fields, roads and schools submerged under water, and old people and children sitting on roofs touched the hearts of millions of people, including those in Vietnam Groove.

Therefore, the company donated gift sets worth a total VND120 million to residents in Quang Tri Province with an aim to help them resolve difficulties caused by the floods and then stabilize their lives when floods go down.

Vietnam Groove also coordinated with Vinhomes JSC to present many gift sets to poor students with outstanding achievements and students heavily affected by the historic floods as well as repair schools damaged by the floods with a total value of more than VND250 million.

Promoting community activities, Vietnam Groove has also joined the third container library project, jointly held by the HCMC Young Business Association and the Binh Thanh District Business Association.

The organizer of the container library project has handed over a library benefiting over 600 students of the Tan Phong Primary School in Thanh Phu District, Ben Tre Province.

No gift is more wonderful and meaningful than knowledge. The moment students entering the container-turned-library with happy faces is a great motivation for Vietnam Groove and the organizer of the project to continue spreading love.
